The Anaheim Union High School District invites sealed bids for a contract for the Cypress HS Gym Roofing Project. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the bidder's name and project name, accompanied by an acceptable form of security. Each bid must include cash, a certified or cashier's check, or a bond from a surety company satisfactory to the District, in an amount not less than 10% of the total bid. The successful bidder is required to enter into a contract and provide necessary bonds and insurance certificates within ten days of notice. If the contract price exceeds $25,000, the successful bidder must provide a Payment Bond and a Performance Bond, each equal to 100% of the contract price. Bidders must be properly licensed contractors in the appropriate classification (B or C-39) and registered with the Department of Industrial Relations. The project requires compliance with prevailing wage laws. The District may reject any or all bids or waive any irregularity in a bid. No bids will be accepted from ineligible contractors.
