Site work for a water / sewer project in Ames, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are requested for a Water Meter System Replacement Project. The work to be performed includes supplying and installing 124 units of 3/4" water meters, 1 unit of 2" water meter, 125 units of radio transmitters, 124 water meter setters, installation of 3/4" and 2" water meters, installation of water meter setters, mobilization, and provision of a drive-by system including 1-year software, programming, tools, and training. A bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid amount is required to be attached to all bids, guaranteeing contract entry and required bonds within ten days of award notice. Bids must remain valid for 45 days after opening. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities or technicalities, and make awards in the owner's best interest. Specifications are available at Town Hall and electronically, and only those who obtain the bid packet and are registered on the owner's bid list may be recognized as eligible bidders. Proposals and any modifications or revisions must be submitted to the designated office by the specified time, and late submissions will not be considered.
