Reading Area Community College extends an invitation to interested and qualified firms to submit formal sealed bids online to provide services for recycling and waste management. The work includes college-wide recycling and waste management pick-up services. The award will be a three-year contract with two optional one-year extensions based on performance. All written requests for clarifications must be submitted in writing through the PennBid platform. The contract, if awarded, shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements. The college reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities, omissions, errors, mistakes, or defects in any bid, or to accept or reject any or all bids at its sole discretion in the best interest of the college. No bid shall be deemed accepted until the adoption of a formal resolution by the owner.
