Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Davenport, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The proposed work includes all labor, materials, tools, supplies, utility and transportation services, equipment and all incidentals necessary for the FY 2027 Iowa DOT Full Depth Patch Program and work incidental thereto in and for the City of Davenport, Iowa. All work shall be done in strict compliance with the plans and specifications prepared by City Staff. Bids must be submitted electronically, and late, paper, faxed, or emailed bids will not be accepted. Prices should be free of sales tax. For bids over $100,000, a bid bond of 5% of the bid amount must be included, and awarded contractors will be required to furnish a performance bond equal to 100% of the contract amount. Work cannot begin until July 1, 2026, and must be completed by October 23, 2026. Liquidated damages are set at $1,000 per day. Manufacturer’s written warranties and guarantees are required. Bidders must provide a Certificate of Insurance for General Liability, Workers Compensation, and Vehicle insurance. Contractors must ensure non-discrimination in employment. Potential prime contractors are encouraged to contact DBE sub-contractors. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and irregularities if deemed in the public interest. Possible Patch Locations • Highway 22 • W.
