Project No. BG-5J25 (000)--80-37, BG-1A11-(000)-80-11 Construction of a new Iowa Department of Transportation (IDOT) Maintenance Facility in Jefferson, Iowa. The project includes a 17,800-square-foot maintenance facility constructed with precast concrete wall panels and structural steel framing. The facility is designed to support IDOT operations and fleet maintenance functions. In addition to the main facility, the project includes construction of a salt storage building utilizing a preengineered wood structure. Site work consists of comprehensive site improvements, including mass grading, underground utilities, site paving, construction of a detention pond for stormwater management, and associated infrastructure. The scope also includes site removals and demolition of existing building structures to accommodate new construction.
