The scope of work includes the construction involving the removal of approximately 945 linear feet of existing decorative fencing on the west side of the concrete path that runs parallel to Bayshore Drive, adjacent to the boardwalk. The contractor will be required to fabricate and replace the decorative fencing with a stainless-steel handrail. The work also involves excavation anticipated for the placement and installation of the handrail's base. Instructions to bidders include submitting sealed bids via mail or hand delivery to the Operations Administrator by the specified due date and time. No bids will be accepted after the deadline. Bidding documents can be viewed online, and all pre-bid questions and responses will be addressed via email. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is non-mandatory. Bidders must qualify with the owner as specified in the Request for Quote. The project is subject to prevailing wage rates and is fully funded by the City of Coos Bay Urban Renewal Agency. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities or informalities. No bidder may withdraw their bid until thirty days after the bid opening.
