Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Lebanon, Indiana. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.
The work to be performed includes all general construction, labor, material, tools, equipment, taxes, permits, licenses, insurance, and service costs incidental to and required for the replacement of Boone County Bridge No. 229, which carries County Road 600 West over Big Walnut Creek approximately 0.9 miles north of CR 750 South in Boone County, Indiana. Bidders are required to submit sealed proposals including all bid documents as listed in section 5.3 of the Instruction to Bidders. Proposals must include: Bidders Itemized Proposal and Declarations, Bid Bond, and Standard Questionnaire and Financial Statement. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or an acceptable Bidder's Bond, payable to the Boone County Auditor, in the sum of 5% of the total amount of the proposal. Failure to execute the contract and provide a performance bond will result in forfeiture of the check or bond as liquidated damages. Bids must remain valid for 90 days from the opening date. Specifications stated are minimum requirements. Any deviations must be cited by the Bidder for consideration.
