Demolition for an office development in Bedford, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a office development.

It is the intent of this specification to obtain a firm price for the demolition of the building located at 4101 Airport Freeway, Bedford TX 76021. The building will be vacated by June 30, 2026 and the asbestos abatement will be completed in July. The tentative date for demolition will be August 1, 2026. The Work of this Contract consists of the furnishing of all labor, materials, services, and equipment required in conjunction with or properly incidental to demolition of structures located at 4101 Airport Frwy (see Exhibit A). Demolition work needed: o The project includes the demolition of all existing buildings and structures and accessories, including parking lots, on the property listed, as well as the as-needed removal of all debris related to the demolition, debris located within the existing building, and other existing debris located on the property. o Demolition includes removing all concrete foundations in their entirety, any concrete piers, if present, will be removed to a minimum of 36 inches below finished grade. o Contractor to conduct site work in compliance with all applicable Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) regulations. o Contractor to disconnect and cap all the utilities, phone, gas, electric, and water, prior to demolition of the structures. Contractor must have a licensed plumber on staff. o Locate existing utilities; provide adequate protection and support during demolition operations. If uncharted or incorrectly charted piping or other utilities are encountered during earthwork, consult utility owner immediately for directions as to procedure. o Repair damaged utilities beyond capped lines to the satisfaction of utility owner at no cost to the City. Contractor is responsible for utility line verification prior to demolition. o Contractor will need to secure the site and protect the public during the work. This will include dust control and other measures to protect nearby businesses as defined by the City's Code of Ordinances.
