New Bedford Housing Authority invites sealed bids from Contractors for the Heating Unit Replacement at Brickenwood in New Bedford, MA. The Project consists of demolition of existing gas-fired, cast iron boilers and selected accessories and the installation of new gasfired condensing boilers and selected accessories. Selective demolition of existing lighting and providing new luminaires. General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management & Maintenance (DCAMM) in the following category of work, General Building Construction, & must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility & signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement. General bids & sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than 5% of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates) & made payable to the New Bedford Housing Authority. Deadline for bidder questions, due in writing to Brian Morley at bmorley@mm-t.com by 2:00 PM on Friday, March 13, 2026.
