Question Deadline 03/26/2026 at 2:00 PM CT Sealed bids will be received for structural repairs at Warren Easton High School, 3019 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119, under Project Number ITB No. ITB 26-FAC-0086. The demolition and replacement of the existing concrete slab in the (2) stair corridors (identified in the overall building plans provided) to correct settlement that has occurred. In addition to the slab replacement, slab leveling in the main corridor adjacent to the stair corridors is to be performed to raise the finish floor height of the existing corridor slab to match the elevation of the newly replaced slab. All affected existing finishes are to be replaced to match. Bids must comply with all requirements and provisions of Louisiana law, including licensing for Building Construction, and include a bid security equal to five percent of the sum of the Base Bid and all Alternates. Bid security may be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or an acceptable Orleans Parish School Board Bid Bond. Sureties must meet requirements regarding treasury listing or be Louisiana domiciled insurers with appropriate A.M. Best's Key Rating Guide ratings and other financial limits. The successful bidder is required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of the contract amount, meeting specified surety qualifications. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause, and bids may not be withdrawn for 30 days after receipt. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged, and bidders must indicate familiarity with the project site. The project is to be financed in whole or part by federal or other funds which may not be available at the time of bidding; therefore, the Owner reserves the right to hold bids for more than 45 calendar days. All requirements in the Instructions to Bidders are incorporated.
