Sealed bids are invited for electrical repair services "as needed" for all developments of the Housing Authority of the City of Jersey City for a period of one year, with an option for an additional year. There is also a bid for stairwell pressurization testing for various developments. Bids must be delivered to the specified office location. Only original and originally executed documents will be accepted, including the bid, affidavits, qualification questionnaire, statement of ownership, statement of compliance, HUD directive, and affirmative action documents. A Business Registration Certificate issued by the Division of Revenue must be supplied prior to contract award. Bids must be enclosed in a properly sealed envelope bearing the name of the bidder and the bid title. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids will only be awarded to the entity under whose name the bid and related documents are submitted. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after the bid date without the consent of the Authority. Full requirements for the Affirmative Action Program and additional administrative instructions are included in the bid documents.
