Site work for a water / sewer project in Denair, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are invited for the construction of the "Well Site 8 to Water Tank 2 Water Line Project." The work consists of constructing the water line as detailed in the Request for Proposal. Bidders must have a California Contractors State License Board Classification B. All bidders must comply with requirements for public works projects, including payment of prevailing wages, payroll record keeping, overtime, employment of apprentices, nondiscrimination, and workers' compensation insurance. The successful bidder must also comply with insurance and bonding requirements specified in the Request for Proposal. All bidders need to reach out to Dennis Barksdale @ dcb@claybar.com to attain project plans. Award Recommendation to District Board of Directors April 30, 2026 The deadline for written requests for additional information and clarifications will be due on or before March 25, 2026. District Engineer 9354B Elk Grove Florin Road Elk Grove, CA 95624 Phone: 916-684-7301 Email: dcb@claybar.com Work Included Furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to construct the Well Site 8 to Water Tank 2 Water Line Project shown on the improvement plans for the Denair C.S.D. 2026 Well Site 8 to Water Tank 2 Water Line Project prepared by Claybar Engineering, Inc. The work includes, traffic control, saw cutting pavement, trench excavation, installation of water pipeline and water valves, backfill of the trench, and pavement restoration. and all other work necessary to complete the work as shown on the improvement plans mentioned above. The District shall provide one set of construction stakes in the form of concrete nails in the existing asphalt and provide the contractor with a diagram and point description. The contractor shall be responsible for preserving all construction stakes.
