Babbage Parking Lot Lighting Improvements Sealed bids will be received electronically for Babbage Parking Lot Lighting Improvements. Bids must be submitted electronically via the Townships Open Gov Bid Portal, using the designated proposal forms and must include all documents and materials described in the proposal checklist provided in the project manual. All bids must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of either a certified check, cashiers check, or bid bond to the order of the Township for not less than ten percent of the bid amount and not exceeding twenty thousand dollars. The successful contractor is required to furnish a 100% performance bond and 100% labor and material payment bond, issued by the contractors insurance carrier or surety, to guarantee faithful fulfillment of the agreement. Contractors must comply with the provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act and the Public Works Registration Act, and must submit evidence of contractor registration for themselves and named subcontractors at the time of bid. The successful contractor must comply with antidiscrimination and affirmative action requirements, as well as health and safety regulations. All bidders are required to comply with the Local Public Contracts Law and applicable regulations. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the best interest of the Township.
