Site work and paving for a road / highway in Ironton, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to resurface various County and Township Roads in accordance with the Lawrence County Engineer's specifications. Bids must be in accordance with specifications and bidding documents available from the Lawrence County Engineer's Garage. Each bidder is required to provide a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond, with security furnished by a Surety Company licensed in Ohio. Proposals must include the full name of the submitting party and all interested persons, as well as evidence of experience with similarly sized and complex projects. The project is to be completed within 60 days from the Notice to Proceed. Contractors and subcontractors are to use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor where practicable and comply with equal employment opportunity requirements as outlined in applicable Ohio codes and executive orders. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services. The contract will be awarded as one contract on a unit price basis. The Commissioners reserve the right to waive irregularities and reject any or all bids. QA date - 3-19-2026 All Questions shall be submitted in writing to the Lawrence County Engineer via mail or fax up to 5 business days prior to the Bid Opening . Our legal notice states the opinion of probable costs on the notice listed at $1,280,018.75.
