Sealed bids are requested for the BBCHS Addition & Renovations Bid Release #2 at 700 W North Street, Bradley, IL, with bid packages including Concrete (Building & Site), Precast (Plank & Walls), Masonry, Structural & Miscellaneous Steel, General Trades, Openings, Roof, Elevator, Fire Suppression, Plumbing & Mechanical Piping, HVAC/Sheet Metal/Controls, Electrical/Communications & Electronic Safety & Security, and Excavation & Building Demolition. Each bid must include a Bid Bond equal to 10% of the bid, from a surety approved by the owner and licensed in Illinois. Bidders must use the provided bid form and submit, along with the form, a Sexual Harassment Statement, Drug Free Workplace Act statement, and Statement on Bid Rigging. All bids must comply with Illinois law regarding prevailing wages and labor requirements. The contract documents form part of the contract, and all blanks in the bid form must be completed. The bid cannot be withdrawn for thirty days after opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof and to waive irregularities. Electronic project documents can be requested by contacting the Construction Manager. Bids are taken from individual Prime Contractors as outlined in the Bid Package Scopes of Work.
