Proposal One: Supply LT-4 and MT-4 Hot Mix Asphalt, approximately 6,000 tons, to be produced and dumped into trucks provided by Crawford County. Bids are to be quoted per ton from potential plant locations. The plant location, delivery time, and schedule must be agreed upon by Crawford County and the successful bidder. Crawford County must have full access to the asphalt plant during main line production. Alternate bid for supplying labor, equipment, and material to provide, place, and compact the quoted hot mix asphalt, including tack materials. Proposal Two: Supply 3/8 Inch Minus (LT-5) Hot Mix Asphalt, approximately 1,100 tons, for county, state, and local roads. Bids are per ton, with bidders providing plant locations and availability throughout the construction season. Proposal Three: Supply 3/8 Inch Minus Cold Mix Asphalt, approximately 500 tons, for county, state, and local roads. Bids are per ton, with bidders providing plant location, scheduled production dates, and times material will be available during the construction season. Proposal Four: Supply 3,000 tons of 3/8-inch Limestone Chips and 2,000 tons of Quartz or Fractured River Stone Chips, bid per ton, picked up by Crawford County. Proposal Five: Supply approximately 7,500 tons of Limestone Breaker and/or Crushed Select, and approximately 3,000 tons of Limestone BAD, bid per ton, picked up by Crawford County for use on CTH W between STH 61 and Richland County Line. All materials must meet Wisconsin Department of Transportation specifications. Mailed bids must be received by the Crawford County Highway Department no later than 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 18th, 2026. No bid can be withdrawn after opening without the consent of Crawford County for sixty (60) days after the scheduled bid receipt time. Crawford County reserves the right to change specifications without notice, accept or reject any or all bids, or to accept the bid most advantageous to the County.
