To be given consideration all questions must be received. The Contractor shall commence and fully execute the Work described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein. All labor, tools, transportation, materials, equipment, disposal costs and permits required to perform the Work set forth in Exhibit A herein shall be the responsibility of the Contractor. Demolition of Existing Mechanical Screen, Washer Compactor, and Control Panel, and Installation of New Mechanical Screening and Washing Compactor Systems at: (1) City of Milford Housatonic WWTP, (2) Beaver Brook WWTP. Bids must be received in the Purchasing Agent's Office by the specified deadline. Specifications are available in the Purchasing Office or can be downloaded. If downloading, bidders are responsible for ensuring they have current information and for checking for any addenda prior to submitting a bid. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Housatonic Wastewater Treatment Plant for project discussion and questions. A bid bond for 5% of the total project cost is required with each bid. Bids must remain firm for 120 days beyond the bid opening date. The successful bidder must submit a 100% Performance Bond, 100% Labor & Materials Payment Bond, and a Certificate of Insurance within 10 days of the notice of bid award.
