The selected Respondent shall supply a new aeration system package with a design capacity of 0.95 million gallons per day (mgd), consisting of all required equipment, controls, appurtenances, and manufacturer’s services as defined for a complete and operational system. The aeration system supplier must be regularly engaged in the design, manufacture, and assembly of aeration systems of the specified size and type. The aeration system will be installed by a general contractor in the existing secondary treatment aeration basin under a phased approach to maintain continuous wastewater treatment operations during construction. The installation by the general contractor will be bid separately after procurement of the aeration equipment package. The proposed aeration package requirements and the configuration of the existing aeration basin are referenced in the technical specifications and included for reference. The selected aeration package will be procured separately and referenced in the general contractor's contract documents for installation. Upon selection of a general contractor, installation of the aeration system package will be assigned to that contractor. Bidders must submit their bids online to the Public Works Director.
