Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work involves revising five signal systems, ADA improvements, and trail construction in Eagan, MN. The scope includes mobilization, pavement marking removal, removal of curb and gutter, removal of bituminous pavement and walk, removal of concrete walk, placement of wearing course mixture, installation of RC pipe sewer, construction of drainage structures, concrete curb ramp walk, concrete curb and gutter, rigid PVC loop detectors, revisions to signal systems, installation of pavement and crosswalk markings, traffic control, turf establishment, and other miscellaneous work items. Bids will only be received electronically. Prospective bidders must be on the plan holders list through QuestCDN for bids to be accepted. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the instructions to bidders. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and technical proposals, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and further reserves the right to award the contract to the best interests of the City.
