The approximate quantities of work include contract bond, railway protection insurance, common excavation-subcut, shoulder preparation, aggregate base course class 5, tack coat, fog seal, milling pavement surface (1 inch and 2 inch), RAP-Superpave FAA 43, cored samples, patching, PG 58S-28 asphalt cement, mobilization, flagging, traffic control signs, portable rumble strips, tubular markers, pilot car, bituminous laboratory, contractor's laboratory, geosynthetic material type G, adjustment of gate valve boxes and manholes, pavement markings (painted messages and lines of various widths), and short term lines. Each bid must be submitted with a Bidder's Bond in the amount of five percent of the bid. The work shall be completed by October 16, 2026; liquidated damages apply after this date. The right is reserved to reject all bids, waive any informality, and to hold bids for up to thirty days from the opening date. Bidders must submit sealed bids on the basis of cash payment for the work.
