DDPM239001 Provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances, and supervision necessary to renovate and retrofit an existing fuel cell hangar. The work includes extension of the existing hangar structure to accommodate a larger aircraft, replacement of the legacy foam fire suppression system with a modern water-based system, and reconfiguration of associated internal support, safety, and support systems. The project requires compatibility with the existing installation, including use of a Carrier HVAC chiller system specified as brand name/sole source. Work will be performed under a single firm fixed-price contract with a performance period of 545 calendar days after notice to proceed, including inspection and punch list. Construction magnitude is estimated between $8,000,000 and $13,000,000. The project is set aside 100 percent for small business and will be procured as commercial construction in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 14.
