General Description of Work the Major Work Will Consist of the Following: Paving Improvements: Approximately 26,000 Sy of 6" Concrete Pavement, Lime-treated Subgrade, Barrier Free Ramps, Concrete Sidewalks, and Related Work. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond or a Certified or Cashier's Check, Acceptable to the District, in an Amount Not Less Than Five Percent (5%) of the Total Amount Bid, as a Guarantee That the Successful Bidder Will Enter Into the Contract and Execute the Bonds on the Forms Provided and Provide the Required Insurance Certificates Within Seven (7) Days After the Date the Contractor is Notified. Qualifications of Bidders All Contractors Are Required to Be Prequalified by the City of Fort Worth Prior to Bid Opening. Prequalified by the City of Fort Worth Prior to Bid Opening. To Be Eligible to Bid the Contractor Must Submit the Prequalification Statement Included in the Contract Documents for the Work Type(S) Listed With Their Bid. Any Contractor or Subcontractor Who is Not Prequalified for the Work Type(S) Listed Must Submit a Bidder Prequalification Application in Accordance With the Requirements Included in the Contract Documents. Developer/District's Right to Accept or Reject Bids Developer and Morningstar Ranch Municipal Utility District No. 2 of Parker County Reserve the Right to Waive Irregularities and to Accept or Reject Bids.
