Construction of 12.828 miles of maintenance (other than bridge) on Roads "A" - "D" in Copiah County, Mississippi, State Aid Project No. SAP-15(12)M. Bidders shall submit their bids either in a sealed envelope or electronically. Electronic bids will be received at www.copiahcountybids.org. Bids will be received by the Board of Supervisors of Copiah County, Mississippi, in Hazlehurst, Mississippi, at the Copiah County Courthouse located at 100 Caldwell Drive, Hazlehurst, MS 39083, until 10:00 AM on the specified date and shortly thereafter publicly opened for the construction project. The project shall be constructed in accordance with the latest edition of the Mississippi Standard Specifications for State Aid Road and Bridge Construction. Paper and electronic copies of the plans and proposal may be ordered at www.copiahcountybids.org. The award, if made, will be to the lowest qualified bidder based on the quantities listed in the proposal. If requested by the Owner/Engineer, the bidder shall submit five projects of similar scope and size for review and evaluation. The Copiah County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received. Certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to Copiah County and the State of Mississippi must accompany each proposal. Any proposal accompanied by letters qualifying in any manner the condition under which the proposal is tendered will be considered an irregular bid and will not be considered in making the award. Minority business enterprise will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
