Site work for a water / sewer project in Upper Saucon Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work will include, but will not necessarily be limited to, providing all equipment, materials, labor, supervision, and testing services for the proposed improvements within the North Branch Interceptor Project as further described in the Contract Documents and Plans. Sealed proposals for the North Branch Interceptor Project will be received online via the PennBid Program by Upper Saucon Township, Lehigh County. The work will include, but will not necessarily be limited to, providing all equipment, materials, labor, supervision, and testing services for the proposed improvements within the North Branch Interceptor Project as described in the contract documents and plans. Contracts to be awarded include: Site Work and Sanitary Sewer Installation, Electrical Components, and Mechanical Components. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, bank cashier's check, or other security acceptable to the owner in the amount of 10% of the total base bid. Bids will be effective for 60 calendar days from the bid opening date and may not be withdrawn during this period. Bidders must bid on all items listed on the bid form and are required to establish proof of competency and responsibility in accordance with 67 PA Code Chapter 457 and PennDOT Form 408/2020. Subcontractors must prequalify in the same manner. All bidders and subcontractors must be PennDOT pre-qualified. This project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, OSHA conditions, Pennsylvania Act 287 of 1974 (and its amendments), the Trade Practices Act of July 23, 1968, the Public Works Employment Verification Act, Pennsylvania Human Relations Act 222, and non-discrimination in employment/contract compliance regulations. Upper Saucon Township reserves the right to waive any informalities, irregularities, defects, errors, or omissions in any or all bids and to accept or reject any or all parts of the bids as it deems in the best interest of the township.
