Site work and paving for a road / highway in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
This project consists of furnishing all tools, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to cold mill asphalt, place plant mix pavement, adjust manholes and valve boxes to grade, adjust existing monuments, and any additional items defined in the Bid Documents. Bidders must purchase project bidding documents from designated locations to be included on the official Plan Holders List, as bids from those not on this list will be deemed non-responsive. The Owner will consider all acceptable bids, evaluate the bidder's qualifications and performance record, and may request additional information to determine the bidder's ability to perform the work. Bids must be signed, accompanied by evidence of authority to sign, and include bid security equal to 5% of the bid amount. Bid security may be forfeited if the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive nonmaterial irregularities, and accept the proposal most advantageous to its interests. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered
