Site work for a transportation facility in Lewiston, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
Project work is generally described as full depth reconstruction and reconfiguration of Taxiway D and connecting taxilanes; install edge lighting system and signage; storm sewer demolition; domestic water improvements; stormwater improvements; aggregate base course; asphalt rotomilling and crushing; asphalt paving; excavation/embankment; fencing; safety area grading; seeding/mulching; pavement markings; and other miscellaneous work items. Bids will be received only through QuestCDN.com via electronic VirtuBidTM online bid service. Bidders must register with QuestCDN.com for a non-refundable cost of $22.00 to download the bidding documents and be placed on the plan holders list. There is a non-refundable $42.00 fee to submit a bid. The Owner will not be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if obtained from sources other than the website. A Bid Guaranty, payable in cash, by cashier's check, certified check or bid bond, of 5 percent of the total bid amount is required. Separate Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of 100 percent of the total contract amount will be required. Each bidder must supply all the information required by the Bid Documents and Specifications. No contractor, subcontractor, or specialty contractor shall be required to have a current license as a Contractor in the State of Idaho in order to submit a bid or proposal; prior to award and execution of the Contract, the successful bidder shall secure an Idaho Public Works Contractor's License. All contracts and resulting subcontracts are subject to relevant federal contract provisions, including Buy America Preferences, Davis Bacon Act, Lobbying Federal Employees, Prohibition of Covered Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Recovered Materials, and relevant civil rights and labor standards statutes, regulations, and acts. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities, to negotiate contract terms with the successful Bidder, and to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive or conditional Bids.
