Site work and paving for a civil project in Buckeye, Arizona. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
A Design Concept Report (DCR) will study Verrado Way between Yuma Rd & Beloat Rd, suggesting interim conditions and ultimate cross section for elements including but not limited to, acquisition of right-of-way and easements, utility conflicts, drainage, and efficient traffic flow. Improvements to intersection of Verrado Way & Yuma Rd will be designed with additional lanes in each direction N to Van Buren St. A Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) will be utilized to improve Verrado Way & Yuma Rd and Verrado Way N to Van Buren St intersections. Pre-construction services include but aren't limited to, project review, cost estimates, engineering services, project planning and suggestions to improve project delivery, complete constructability reviews, provide GMPs, and assist with procurement. The CMAR completes construction services including but not limited to, construction as designed, subcontractor selection per plan, and public outreach requirements. Improvements outside this scope, excluding in-lieu contributing parcels, are not included. The project is included in the City's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP).As of March 06, 2026, further details have not yet been identified. As of March 11, 2026, this CIP is in the planning and design phase for FY 2026. Construction is anticipated to begin FY 2027 and continue through FY 2028.
