Renovation of a municipal facility in Buckeye, Arizona. Design plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Combine City Hall Rooms 330, 331, and 332 and convert into a large-scale event space with a focal wall for photographs and social media opportunities. Add ITS infrastructure to support a fully functional conference space, cabinetry and appliances, and finishes to complete the space. On the 1st floor of City Hall, 2 conference rooms will be added; one where the Welcome Desk is currently located, moving the desk closer to the front door, and another just to the right of where the Welcome Desk is currently located. The glass wall to the right of the entry doors will be replaced with a solid wall and the front right quarter of the building will be reconfigured to include an additional small conference room in the front right corner and additional desk and office space. It is anticipated that a threat analysis at the beginning of the design process will stipulate the specific force protection measures required. This scope excludes any construction to the City Hall building outside the two areas outlined above, as well as any improvements requiring structural or architectural plans. The project is included in the City's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) As of March 13, 2026, this project has been approved for design and construction in FY 2026.
