As of May 7, 2026, bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. Project will rebid but no definite date yet. The project consists of multiple work scopes and requires multiple prime contracts for the following projects: SHOWER RENOVATIONS AT AVON GROVE MIDDLE SCHOOL and VESTIBULE RENOVATIONS AT PENN LONDON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. Bids shall conform to all other requirements as set forth in the bidding documents. Bidders are required to secure a complete set of Bidding Documents for all contracts. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, money order or cashier's good faith check payable to the Order of Avon Grove School District, or a Bid Bond in an amount not less than 10 percent (10%) of the total bid, as security. Performance and Payment Bonds are required. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit in the form set forth in the Bidding Documents. Bidders and all subcontractors must comply with all provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Procurement Code for Prevention of Environmental Pollution. Bids will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder providing the combination of bid options selected as being most favorable. The School Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality, and to eliminate or reduce items or quantities.
