Provide all materials, machinery, implements, appliances, tools, labor, and other means of construction necessary to perform and complete custodial operations and maintenance of the rest area, including lawn and grounds maintenance, at the specified location. All work and materials must comply with the 2024 Standard Specifications for Roads and Structures, project special provisions, requirements of the Engineer, and the proposal, plans, and specifications. Payment and performance bonds are not required. The scope covers completing all specified work for the unit or lump sum prices bid. The contract is only valid when signed by the designated contract officer or division engineer. All construction and work are to be done as per the referenced specifications and under the direction of the Engineer. The Department of Transportation may increase or decrease the quantity of any item or portion of the work as necessary. An increase or decrease in the quantity of an item will not alter the unit prices or completion time except as provided in the contract. Small business certification is mandatory.
