Bids for the construction of the 2026 Street Surface Improvement Project - Mineral Ponds and Sandra Terrace will be received electronically through the online electronic bid service QuestCDN. Principal components of the project include: removing gate valve and box (18 each); sawing concrete pavement - full depth (1,262 linear feet); removing concrete walk (2,994 sq ft); excavation - subgrade (2,205 cu yd); full depth reclamation (19,839 sq yd); Type SP 9.5 wearing course mixture (1,882 ton); Type SP 12.5 non-wearing course mixture (3,136 ton); connect to existing watermain (18 each); gate valve and box (18 each); casting assembly (42 each); concrete walk (2,368 sq ft); concrete curb and gutter (1,758 lin ft); traffic control (1 lump sum); site restoration (977 sq yd); 24" solid line multi-component (30 lin ft); and crosswalk multi-component (180 sq ft). Bidders may attend the bid opening in person at Anoka City Hall. Bidding documents can be examined at Hakanson Anderson, 3601 Thurston Avenue, Anoka, MN 55303, with options for purchase and electronic download. Bidders will be charged a fee to submit electronically. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, cash deposit, or bid bond, made payable to the City, in the amount of five percent of the bid. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities therein, awarding the contract in the City's best interest.
