Question Deadline 03/20/2026 The contractor shall not be permitted to deviate from the specifications unless written questions or requests are submitted a minimum of seven (7) working days prior to bid opening. The Caddo Parish School Board desires that Bidders make a good faith effort to utilize 25% small and economically disadvantaged businesses. Sealed bids will be received for the Walnut Hill Auditorium, Project No. 2027-213. Complete bidding documents may be obtained from Sutton Beebe Babin Architects upon payment of $215.00 per set, with an additional $50.00 shipping and handling fee if documents are to be sent. Prime bidders are required to obtain an original set of documents from the designer. Deposit is fully refundable to all bona fide prime bidders who submit a bid and return documents in good condition within ten days after receipt of bids. Louisiana licensed contractors with a major classification as building construction are required for this project. Bid security equal to 5% of the total bid shall be in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check, and must be attached to the bid. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond equal to 100% of the contract amount. Liquidated damages of $1,000 per day will apply for each consecutive calendar day the work is not completed beyond the established completion date of 365 days. No bid may be withdrawn for 45 days after the opening date. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bidders are encouraged to make a good faith effort to utilize 25% small and economically disadvantaged businesses. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held.
