Pavement improvements are to be completed on Annette St., Spring Lake Dr., Steere Dr., Logan St., and Samford Ave. The project is classified under Highway, Streets, and Drainage. Bidders must submit an acceptable bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check payable to the City of Shreveport in an amount not less than five percent of the bid, including all additive alternates. All bonds must be accompanied by an original power of attorney. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance bond equal to 100% of the contract amount, a 50% payment bond, and a 10% two-year maintenance bond. Bidders must be licensed as per Louisiana Revised Statute 37:2150 et seq., and only perform work included in their license classification. The bidder must comply with the Equal Opportunity Clause and all applicable taxes, licenses, and fees must be paid to the City before contract award. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause. Minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin in consideration for an award. It is the responsibility of the bidder to inquire about any issued addenda.
