Renovation of an educational facility in Shreveport, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
SEALED BIDS will be received for the Northside Locker Room, Project No. 2027-223. Complete Bidding Documents may be obtained from Newman Marchive Incorporated by paying a fee. If documents are to be shipped, an additional shipping and handling fee applies. The deposit is fully refundable to bona fide prime bidders who submit a bid and return the documents in good condition within ten days after receipt of bids. BID SECURITY equal to five percent (5%) of the Total Bid must be attached in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check, with bid bonds provided only on the designated form and from licensed companies. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond for 100% of the contract amount from a licensed company. Liquidated Damages are set at $600 per day for each day the work is not completed beyond 67 days from the established completion date. No bids may be withdrawn within 45 days after opening. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bidders are encouraged to make a good faith effort to utilize 25% small and economically disadvantaged businesses. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held, and attendance for the entire conference is required for eligibility to submit a prime bid. Failure to attend or remain for the conference duration prohibits bidding. Budget is $600,000.00. Question Deadline 04/06/2026 Bidders requiring clarifications or interpretation of the Bidding documents shall make a written request to the Architect, at least ten days prior to the date for receipt of bids. The work includes: Demolition at gym locker rooms (Showers). Construction of new showers.
