Site work and new construction of a parking garage in Shreveport, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a 12,500-square-foot parking garage.
This work consists of providing all materials, labor and equipment required for the construction of a 12,500 square foot covered parking building including, but not limited to, earthwork, concrete, subgrade preparation, Class II base, foundation construction, water, sewer, and related utilities, excavation, embankment, and related work as described in the Contract Documents. In order to bid the project, a complete set of Bid Documents must be obtained by the prime bidder upon receipt of deposit. All Bids must be accompanied by Bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the base Bid and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or Bid Bond written by a qualified, licensed company in conformance with the laws of the State of Louisiana. Electronic bids are available for submission at www.bidexpress.com and require a digital signature certificate. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance, Maintenance and Payment Bond on a form provided by the Parish and written in accordance with state law. Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are appropriately licensed. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after receipt of Bids, except under specific provisions. The Parish of Caddo reserves the right to reject any and all Bids for just cause and to waive any informalities and technicalities.
