Site work and paving for a civil project in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Replacement and abandonment of up to 733 private lead service lines (LSL) in an area generally described as north of the Manitowoc River and west of N 11th Street. Work includes up to 410 full lead service line replacements from the watermain to the water meter, up to 114 replacements of the home portion only (from the curb stop to the water meter), up to 119 replacements of the street portion only (from the watermain to the curb stop), and up to 90 abandonments of unused lead service lines. Work may include, but is not limited to, the procurement of street, plumbing and electrical permits, coordinating and scheduling the installation with the property owner, installation of a new water service line utilizing trenchless technology, abandonment of the LSL, water meter installation, reconnection to the interior water distribution piping, residential cross connection inspection, electrical grounding modifications, and street restoration (if applicable). Pre-Qualification: Yes QA date - 3-23-2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
