The project involves the replacement and relocation of various sizes of ductile iron and PVC water mains, the upgrade and relocation of sewer mains, installation of fire hydrants, and water house connections across specified roads in Lanham, Prince Georges County, Maryland. Special funding requirements are incorporated, including compliance with Davis-Bacon Wage Rates, use of American Iron and Steel products, adherence to the Build America Buy America Act, and submission of related material certifications. Every 6-inch sewer main will be upgraded to 8-inch by relocation of approximately 834 feet of 8-inch sewer main and same trench replacement of approximately 302 feet of 8-inch sewer main.
