Site work and paving for a road / highway in Ephrata, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The project includes applying a chip seal and fog seal to approximately 107,500 square yards of various City streets. Other work includes traffic control, applying temporary pavement markings, brooming, and pavement markings. All bids must be received before the opening time in sealed envelopes marked plainly with the project name. Bids must be accompanied by a deposit in the form of a postal money order, cashier's check, or bond equal to 5 percent of the maximum total amount of the bid. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract or furnish a satisfactory contract bond within the specified time, the deposit shall be forfeited. Plans and specifications may be obtained at no cost electronically, or by paying a non-refundable fee for paper copies. All bidders must call the provided number before the bid opening to sign up as a bidder on the project, regardless of how the specifications are obtained. Bids from unsignaled bidders will be rejected as non-responsive. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids if it is in the best interest of the City.
