Sealed bids are requested for the Camp Beauregard Road Rehab Phase II project in Pineville, LA 71360. Complete bid documents are available in electronic form at no cost, and printed copies are not provided by the Facility Engineers. Bids must be for contractors licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192 for the classification of highway, street, and bridge construction, and must comply with all relevant Louisiana statutes and requirements. All bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid and any additional bid items, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond. The successful bidder is required to furnish a performance and payment bond equal to 100% of the contract amount, including any additional bid items, from a company licensed to do business in Louisiana. No bid may be withdrawn for forty-five (45) days after receipt except as provided by law. Bids may be submitted electronically but must be posted prior to the stated deadline, and hard copies must be submitted to the Facility Engineers' Office. Only contractors who attend the entire mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit are eligible to submit bids. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids for just cause and will incur no obligation to the contractor until the contract is fully executed.
