Sealed bids are requested for furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to complete the renovation of Kenton Elementary School, 11246 Madison Pike, Kentucky 41051, for the Kenton County School District. The work will be performed under one contract with the owner. Bidders may download the bidding documents at no cost from the specified online planroom. Costs for paper copies are the responsibility of the bidder, and refunds will not be provided. A complete set of bidding documents consists of one set of drawings and one project manual. Bid Security is required in the amount and form defined by the Instructions to Bidders and amendments. Proposed equals for any standards must be submitted at least ten days before the bid opening; acceptance requires issuance of an addendum. The successful bidder is required to provide a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond amounting to 100% of the contract sum. Bids must be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope, clearly marked with both the project and bidder names. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids.
