Sealed bids are solicited for the 2026 Capital Improvements project. Lump sum bid proposals are required. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cash equal to 10 percent of the base bid amount must be submitted with the bid and be payable to the Board of Education. Bids must be submitted in an opaque sealed envelope addressed to Mr. Kevin Weisenberger, Director of Facility Operations, at the stated address. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make the award in the best interest of Community Unit School District 200. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois Law requiring payment of prevailing wages by all Contractors working on public works and Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity Laws. One set of bid documents in digital form and one set of hard copy bid forms are provided at no cost, with additional copies available at the contractor's cost.
