Project work consists of providing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the Grand Teton National Park (GRTE) Replace Highlands Water and Wastewater Systems project, PMIS 249645 and 330091. The work involves replacement of the water and wastewater systems serving the Highlands Historic District, including extending the existing Moose water transmission line to the Highlands area, trenching across Cottonwood Creek using diversion and dewatering methods, replacement of the internal water distribution system, and abandonment of the existing well and related infrastructure. Wastewater system improvements include construction of a new lift station, septic tank, leach field, and collection piping, with the existing wastewater system decommissioned and abandoned in place. Construction activities will disturb approximately 2.5 acres within a 4-acre project area, with staging areas located onsite and at the Beaver Creek boneyard. Standard civil construction equipment will be utilized, and all disturbed areas will be revegetated in coordination with National Park Service staff.
