Description

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Salem, Virginia. Working plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

Renovation of approximately 30,000 square feet of floor space in Building 143s main lobby, including removal and replacement of ceiling tiles, flooring, and baseboards; preparation and repainting of all walls and trim, including removal of existing wallpaper; preparation and repainting of columns with replacement of baseboards and tiles; and removal and replacement of handrails, wall guards, and corner protectors. All existing flooring types--including ceramic tile, vinyl tile, carpet, rubber entry flooring, and all tile and rubber base-will be removed and replaced. All work shall be performed in accordance with the statement of work, drawings, and specifications and completed within 365 calendar days from the notice to proceed. Location: Salem VA Medical Center 1970 Roanoke Blvd. Salem, VA 24153 the estimated magnitude of construction is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000.
