Site work for a mixed-use development in Wetumpka, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Parking lot and street improvements on Company Street, Spring Street, and Logan Street. Restroom facilities at the Softball Field/Arena (Sports Complex), Level Community Park (Curlee Street), Tennis Courts (Sports Complex), and Meadow Brook Park (Bruce Street), including site grading, water and sewer utility extension, and power service. All item bids are to be complete in place. Certified check or bid bond for 5% of the bid (maximum $10,000) payable to the City of Wetumpka must accompany each bid. Bidders must comply with Alabama Contractor's Licensing Law and provide evidence of license. All bidders are required to submit an E-Verify Affidavit stating enrollment in the E-Verify Program with their sealed bid proposals. No bidder may withdraw a bid within 30 days after opening. The successful bidder will have 180 days to complete the project. The right to reject any or all bids is reserved. Minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin in consideration for an award. Speaks and Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers-Land Surveyors, located at 535 Herron Street, Montgomery, Alabama 36104, and to be given consideration must be received at least five days prior to the date fixed for the opening Bids
