The project consists of milling various roads, totaling approximately 20,581 square yards. Bidders must submit a certified check or bank draft payable to Upper Moreland Township or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and acceptable surety, amounting to ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond and Labor & Materials Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract, as well as a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 10 percent (10%) of the Contract. Compliance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act of 1961 is required where the project’s total estimated cost exceeds $25,000. Bidders must ensure non-discrimination in employment based on gender, race, creed, or color. Upper Moreland Township reserves the right to refuse any or all bids or portions thereof and to waive informalities. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the date of opening.
