Scope of Work The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: o Layout, staking, and traffic/pedestrian control o Removal of existing sidewalk (if applicable) o Excavation and subgrade preparation o Aggregate base placement and compaction o Forming and placement of concrete sidewalk o Reinforcement as required o Concrete finishing (light broom finish) o Control and expansion joints o Curing and protection o Construction of ADA-compliant ramps and landings where required o Restoration of boulevards, turf, and adjacent areas o Site cleanup and disposal of waste Estimated Quantities (Approximate): Sidewalk o Sidewalk: 1650 linear feet o Width: 6 feet o Thickness: 4 inches o Subbase thickness: 4 inches of recycled concrete or class 5 aggregate o Reinforcement: 6-guage wire mesh Pickleball Court o 5,830 Square feet of concrete surface o Thickness: 5 inches o Subbase thickness: 24 inches of recycled concrete or class 5 aggregate o Reinforcement: #4 rebar 18 inches on center o Fencing: o 135 Linear feet of 4-foot-tall vinyl coated chain link fence o 94 Linear feet of 8 foot tall vinyl coated chain link fence o Six (6) -3 inch OD vinyl coated steel pipe end and corner posts to match existing o 1 5/8 inch OD vinyl coated steel pipe top and bottom rails to match existing o 2 1/2 inch OD vinyl coated steel pipe line post spaced no more than 10 feet to match existing o Painting: o Provide and install acrylic court surfacing to match existing court layout, including lines and colored areas. Technical Requirements o Concrete shall be air-entrained, minimum 4,000 PSI at 28 days o Concrete and construction methods shall comply with: o Minnesota State Building Code o Applicable MnDOT specifications o City of La Crescent standards and details o All work must meet ADA requirements where applicable Sealed bids are requested for concrete installation at Wieser Memorial Park, County Road 6, La Crescent, Minnesota.
