No others are to be contacted regarding this project. The University is entering into a Multi-Step Bidding Process for Construction Services. A short-listing of Contractors will be based on the evaluation of proposals submitted and the selection criteria outlined in the solicitation documents contained herein. Short-listed Contractors will be invited to submit bids on the project. The only Contractors allowed to bid on this project will be Contractors short-listed by the selection committee. All Contractors responding to this procurement must comply with and require all of their Subcontractors to comply with the license laws as required by the State of Utah. The University of Utah reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the University. Liquidated Damages: $500.00 The General Contractor will address the "Owner Items / Work by Others" associated with the Elevator Modernization project. The G.C.'s scope must integrate seamlessly with the elevator contractor's work and comply with code requirements triggered by the modernization effort. The work includes architectural elements and limited MEP components as defined in the approved construction documents. The project schedule is provided for reference.
