Sealed bids are invited for the Geauga County Courthouse Annex Roof Upgrade. Bids must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, an irrevocable letter of credit, or a bid bond as specified. All bids must use the forms provided. The envelope with the bid and required documents should be sealed and clearly marked. Prevailing wage rates apply. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond for the full contract amount. Bid solicitation materials are available at the Geauga County Maintenance Department or electronically upon request. This includes demolition and off-site disposal of existing BUR roofing systems and an antenna/support structure; repair/replacement of wood decking as required, modification of roof edge per design; replace/upgrade roof hatch and ladders; replace gutter boxes and downspouts with new, installation of guard rails as specified; replacement and cleanout of roof drains as designated, reseal counterflashing, repair/repoint abandoned/active chimneys and caps, apply spray foam insulation on underside of roof deck and rafters; installation of lightning protection, and site clean-up.
