Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Haw River, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a fire / police facility; road / highway; and for paving for a fire / police facility.

Construction Materials Testing services for the ACC burn building training tower project and related sitework. Scope required includes: probing and inspecting subgrade and quantifying any undercut under the proposed training tower and pavement area (minimum two trips; one for the building, one for paving); concrete breaks for the foundation of the building to verify PSI and strength of concrete; witnessing asphalt paving and verifying compaction, including one pavement core that is patched during paving with hot mix and rolled in while asphalt is still hot or via non-shrink grout. Selection will be qualifications-based. Proposer must be licensed in the State of North Carolina to offer architectural or engineering services in response to this solicitation. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. "Requests for proposals for design services is underway."
