Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Haw River, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a fire / police facility; road / highway; and for paving for a fire / police facility.
Construction Materials Testing services for the ACC burn building training tower project and related sitework. Scope required includes: probing and inspecting subgrade and quantifying any undercut under the proposed training tower and pavement area (minimum two trips; one for the building, one for paving); concrete breaks for the foundation of the building to verify PSI and strength of concrete; witnessing asphalt paving and verifying compaction, including one pavement core that is patched during paving with hot mix and rolled in while asphalt is still hot or via non-shrink grout. Selection will be qualifications-based. Proposer must be licensed in the State of North Carolina to offer architectural or engineering services in response to this solicitation.
