The Cody Fire District is requesting quotes for lawn care services for the following locations: Cody Fire Station 1 on County Route 55, Fulton, NY, and Cody Fire Station 2 on Wilcox Rd, Fulton, NY, for a period of one year beginning May 1, 2026, through October 31, 2026. Areas to be mowed and/or trimmed at Station 1 include the south side from County Route 55 over the property line to the back of the fire station, west side (back of fire station) back to the edge of the bank over to the tree line on the north side, and in front of the fire station in the flagpole area, including trimming around the flagpole, propane tank, generator house, and back of the fire station. At Station 2, areas include the east side from Wilcox Rd over to the tree line and back to the storage building, south side from tree line to tree line and back to the hedge row, west side from the back of the fire station to the tree line and up to Wilcox Rd, with trimming around the flagpole monument, front of storage building, around the fire station, mowing to the tree line and between BBQ Shed and Thunder Island, and sweeping/cleaning any debris and stone from the sidewalks and parking areas after each mowing. Grass shall be mowed/trimmed weekly from May 1, 2026, through August 15, 2026, and every other week from August 16, 2026, through October 31, 2026, for a total of twenty-one (21) weeks. Quotes are to be per mowing. Successful bidders must carry $500,000.00 Liability, $1,000,000.00 Aggregate, and full Workers Compensation Insurance on all employees with the Cody Fire District named as co-insured. Certificates of insurance and references are required. Bids must be clearly marked "Lawn Care Bids" and mailed to Cody Fire District, PO Box 249, Fulton, NY 13069.
